Why I am here
Two years ago, studying at the university wasn’t in my plans for the future because none career path really stimulated me at that moment, so I didn’t want to waste time and money on it. Nevertheless, I was willing to go if something magically awakened my interest.
Three doritos later... I decided to study architecture and that was my only option. However, as everyone told me to have more alternatives, I added teaching of english to the list. I know what you’re thinking, architecture and teaching of english are quite different, well, I don’t understand it either. I just know that I find them really interesting and engaging equally. Then, why did I put one over the other? I like to suffer.
Speaking of sad selections, I would have liked to choose USACH, seeing that the perspective about social and environmental factors fits with my principles and is close to my house (consequently, it would be easier to carry the mockups). Even though, to determine the university of my preference I also looked in national and international rankings, that’s why I’m here.
I was afraid of people acting like they were better than everyone else and being too competitive, but so far, I haven’t seen that actitud. Actually, my classmates have made the university experience a little less difficult.
Architecture and English are really very different haha, but what they have in common is you, so give your everything in what you like the most.
