Why I am here

  Two years ago, studying at the university wasn’t in my plans for the future because none career path really stimulated me at that moment, so I didn’t want to waste time and money on it. Nevertheless, I was willing to go if something magically awakened my interest. Three doritos later... I decided to study architecture and that was my only option. However, as everyone told me to have more alternatives, I added teaching of english to the list. I know what you’re thinking, architecture and teaching of english are quite different, well, I don’t understand it either. I just know that I find them really interesting and engaging equally. Then, why did I put one over the other? I like to suffer. Speaking of sad selections, I would have liked to choose USACH, seeing that the perspective about social and environmental factors fits with my principles and is close to my house ( consequently, it would be easier to carry the mockups). A movie I love

I don't really have a favorite thing at all, not even a favorite food, but there is a movie that I love watching over and over. This spectacular masterpiece of cinema is Megamind, directed by Tom McGrath, written by Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simons and the characters I like the most, Megamind and Minion, interpreted by Will Ferrell and David Cross respectively.  The reasons why I enjoy this film so much are its music and humor. I laugh to tears every time I watch it. In case you haven't seen Megamind before, it's about a supervillain alien (named Megamind) who has a superhero alien nemesis (Metro man). One day, our protagonist finally defeats the good-guy, but then, he gets bored and creates a new foe. This man became evil too, so Megamind had to play the hero and save the day. Around the hour and sixteen minutes of the movie, welcome to the jungle began to play while Megamind made his entrance to the final and most epic battle of the film. It's a great scene, perhaps ...

Unforgettable vacation

  The best vacation I ever had was almost 5 years ago. All began on the last day of 2016, that day I arrived at my auntie's house in Lautaro from Santiago, where all the family got together, my mom, my grandma, my cousins; to celebrate the new year. A few days later, my mom had to return to Valparaíso, because her house burned down. After a week, my godmother (Guigui), her daughter (Renata) and Renata’s dad picked me up and we drove to Puerto Montt, we ate kuchen on the way. There, we took a ferry with Guigui’s parents (her dad was the captain).  For 3 days, we sailed through stunning fiords and we had the opportunity to see a whale‘s flukes. Once in Puerto Natales, the ferry’s destination, we wanted to do some sightseeing, but we didn’t had to much time, so we took a taxi to the Milodón’s cave and went for a spin around the national park of Torres del Paine, where we saw a puma ! Perú, here I come!

                           Máncora, Perú  Love is the reason for too many things, like getting married, taking care of someone, moving to another place, etc. In my case, love is the reason to travel this summer to Perú. My boyfriend and his family are from there, we are going to visit his relatives who live in Lima. We will travel with his mom, brother and his mom's partner.  My boyfriend told me a funny history, the first time his mom's partner went to Lima, he cooked sausages like we do in Chile, without realizing they had a plastic wrapping on each sausage; fortunately, no one died. I've heard a lot about how different the food is in Perú, and everyone thinks that is better than here, so all I want to do is try as many new candies and peruvian dishes as I can.  Furthermore, I want to feel the adrenaline's rush of taking a mototaxi and also take a relaxing swim in the warm waters of the pacific ocean,...
